Review: Ashton was disowned when he told his parents he was gay. Now, he makes his living stripping. It’s a job that pays the bills, but one night he turns around and his client is none other than J.C., the boy he once fell in love with. J.C. is celebrating his birthday with a lap dance bought for him by his best friend, but when the dancer turns around he’s startled to see Jeremy (Ashton). Jeremy who he remembers from school, but what was he doing stripping? J.C. needs to see him again and hopes he can give him an offer he can’t refuse.


This is a lovely short story of seeing past the trappings surrounding a man and to the person they really are. Ashton lost everything when he came out to his parents, only his best friend Bo stood by him and helped him navigate the real world and now J.C. has walked into his life. But, Ashton is wary of trusting him, after all the only person he knows he can trust is Bo. So does he take a chance with his heart? J.C. has been bitten in the past and he is wary of jumping in with a man again, but when he sees Jeremy (Ashton) again after all these years he throws caution to the wind and takes a chance that Ashton wants him and not his money.

Both Ashton and J.C. are wary men, but as they come together both of them seem to realize that they have found just what they need in the other man. You can understand Ashton’s cautiousness, because of how he lost not just his parents, but all his friends when he came out. only one person standing beside him and being there for him, so when J.C. comes to him it makes him wonder what J,C, really wants. J.C. is willing to take the chance that Ashton wants him, the man, and not the businessman, he knows it’s a risk, but he wants Ashton and wants to show Ashton that they would be good together.


The dynamics of the relationship is fluid, although Ashton likes to be spanked by J.C., he also takes control as well. The sex between them is very hot and at times feels desperate, as though they must have it now. Although the relationship felt a bit rushed, it seemed to suit both their personalities and worked well for them. Although they make an interracial couple, there is no real focus on that; they are just two men who want each other.



So, if you want a story of seeing beyond the surface, new beginnings, hot passionate sex and trusting your instincts, of realizing that the timing is perfect for you and no lost regrets, then this is the book for you.

When I think about going home or finally arriving back from a trip, I feel like I have finally arrived at the place, the one single spot, where I can be at peace. Because even if I (or you) don't notice, when visiting relatives or going to a friends house, there's this... small tension. You don't want to embarrassing them or be overly comfortable even though they say "make yourself athome", there is always something holding you back. You're never really comfortable. However, when you get back at your own place, all of that rushes out. It's why, I think, when you get home from work, you're suddenly VERY exhausted even though, just a second ago you were alert. When you get home, you're suddenly overwhelmed with sleepiness. 

 You know, that you're at the one place were you can just burp out loud and be nasty and no one will care! lol... 

Coming home, to me, means, finally being at the place where you can be yourself and at peace.

Hello Remmy Followers!

Jaxx Steele here to add my gift to Remmy to celebrate his birthday! After I found out what Ryy, Jade and Cassandre were doing, I was at a lost to what that may be, but with a little help and much brain storming here I am!

I have decided to help Remmy’s muse and light his fire so that we may experience many more of his books in the future. I did my homework and found out that some foods actually have a direct impact on your sex life, affecting hormones, brain chemistry and energy and stress levels. Some foods arouse because they are psychologically suggestive while others actually increase blood flow to the genitals.

So, I looked up some of those aphrodisiac foods and found some of my favorite recipes had a lot of those ingredients in them. I listed hem here for Remmy to enjoy, feel free to use them as well. J

Garlic is chockfull of allicin, an ingredient that will increase blood flow and basil not only makes the meals smell and taste better, but it also has a lot of beneficial effects on human body and is also very stimulating. Maybe this explains why Italians are so romantic!

Italian sausage pasta

• 1 pound Italian sausage links
• 1/2 pound pasta
• 1 tablespoon olive oil
• 1 onion, chopped
• 1 clove garlic, chopped
• 1 (16 ounce) can canned tomatoes
• 1 (15 ounce) can canned tomato sauce
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
• teaspoon dried basil
• 1 teaspoon dried oregano
• 1 bay leaf

Directions

1. Removed casing from sausage links and cut into 1/2 inch slices. In a large skillet, brown sausage over medium heat for about 10 minutes; remove and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat ground beef, olive oil, garlic and onion over medium heat until meat is nicely browned; drain.
3. Pour in tomatoes and tomato sauce; mix in salt, ground black pepper, basil, oregano, bay leaf and cooked sausage. Simmer uncovered for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
4. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.
5. Mix cooked sauce with hot pasta and remove bay leaf from sauce before serving

Oysters are high zinc content which helps produce sperm and increases libido. Most people are aware of their reputation for increasing sexual desire thus sealing their fate as being a powerful aphrodisiac. So, I searched for a well known recipe.

Oysters Rockefeller

·        2 slices bacon

·         24 unopened, fresh, live medium oysters

·         1 1/2 cups cooked spinach

• 1/3 cup bread crumbs
• 1/4 cup chopped green onions
• 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 dash hot pepper sauce
• 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
• 4 cups kosher salt

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (220 degrees C). Place bacon in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Drain, crumble and set aside.
2. Clean oysters and place in a large stockpot. Pour in enough water to cover oysters; bring the water and oysters to a boil. Remove from heat and drain and cool oysters. When cooled break the top shell off of each oyster.
3. Using a food processor, chop the bacon, spinach, bread crumbs, green onions, and parsley. Add the salt, hot sauce, olive oil and anise-flavored liqueur and process until finely chopped but not pureed, about 10 seconds.
4. Arrange the oysters in their half shells on a pan with kosher salt. Spoon some of the spinach mixture on each oyster. Bake 10 minutes until cooked through, then change the oven's setting to broil and broil until browned on top. Serve hot.

Add a glass of champagne for a romantic meal and enjoy!

I couldn’t let you go without a recipe for something chocolate. As self proclaimed chocoholic, I am fully aware of its benefits. Pure chocolate, the king of natural aphrodisiacs, contains a host of compounds including anandamide, the psyochoactive feel-good chemical, and PEA (phenylethylamine), the "love chemical," which releases dopamine in the pleasure centers of the brain and peaks during orgasm. PEA is said to help induce feelings of excitement, attraction and euphoria. This is one of my favorite recipes. Neat, sexy, you can share and it’s libido boosting!

Chocolate Covered Cherries

• 1 cup white sugar
• 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
• 8 ounces semisweet dark chocolate, chopped
• 24 Bing cherries with stems

Directions

1. Pour the sugar into a shallow dish. Drop two drops of vanilla at a time into the dish in 24 separate places to form lumps of vanilla sugar. Set aside to allow the lumps to harden.
2. Pit the cherries carefully from the bottom. I use a small curved dental tool. Make sure the stem stays intact.
3. When the lumps of sugar have hardened, insert them into the cherries where the pits were; set aside. Melt chocolate in the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds until melted and smooth.
4. Hold cherries by the stem and dip into the chocolate leaving the very top uncovered. Set on waxed paper to dry. Refrigerate overnight to allow the sugar lumps to dissolve.

For Remmy on the Birthday! Pt 1

Hello Everyone,

I am Ryuu Takahashii and I am a Remmy Lover. *smirks* I met Remmy about two years ago at the Toronto Pride Parade. The moment we met, I know I wanted to be someone Remmy could come to love and trust.  It wasn't hard, because Remmy is the kind of person that has your back as long as you prove you are trustworthy.  We became close and eventually I went out of my comfort zone and bought Saddle Up N Ride! It was my first Remmy story and after that, I bought a Kindle and stocked up on Remmy goodness.  I travel a lot for work so I always try to have something to read.

About three months ago, I finally built up the courage to post a rather delicate subject to Remmy-kins (A Nickname from some of the guys on facebook)--Co-authoring.  Instantly, Remmy got this big goofy grin and dove across the space between us for a hug.  So now, we're writing our first full length novel "PLAY HARDER" together...

So since I'll be taking Remmy out for birthday alcohol soon, I figure I should kidnap the blog and post some of the men I KNOW for sure will give Remmy more inspiration to write more of those fantastic stories.

Before I do that, I'd like to say, Remmy, you have been there for all of us. Even some of the friends you've never met but you talk to everyday, they told me how much you mean to them. The truth is, we're lucky to have you. No matter what, know that I love you and I am glad the day you walked over to me and asked, "Dude, what are you wearing?" lol. Happy Birthday my darling.
