Second Time Around!

For all my regular readers, you know these two characters from a short story from last year. This is now 40,000 words and a novel. It has been overhauled, re-edited. Please enjoy the new story of Ash and Keith!

Ash Archibald wakes up one morning to find his best friend gone. This sends his heart into a spiral of confusion, pain, and an overwhelming sense of betrayal. A year later, Ash allows his sister to talk him into going after Keith, not as a lover but to get some closure.
Keith Hudson is Jamaican and in his family he can be anything he wants--a drug dealer, a university drop-out--anything but the biggest taboo--gay. In the time he all but ran away from Canada to his own little paradise on the island of Jamaica, Keith became a shadow of his former self, a recluse, living on a private estate on the small island. When Ash shows up at his door, Keith now has to face the anger of a best friend scorned and the possibility that he could lose his family forever.

EXCERPT:

Ash arched a brow, turned his head and fought to stare at Keith’s face rather than downward. “Yes, yes you do have something I’ve never seen before.” Ash turned away again.

“You’re joking right? Please tell me you’re not a virgin.”

“I am so not a virgin!” Ash swung around, his eyes dipped to Keith’s cock then flew up again. “I just—I…never seen anything so…damn it why am I tongue tied?”

Keith burst out laughing and Ash frowned. He turned away again, tried storming out but only succeeded in tripping over himself and hitting the ground hard.

“Damn it to hell!” Ash yelled.

“Are you alright?”

“Perfect,” Ash replied. “I should go.” The next time Ash looked up it was to what he was running away from in the first place. Keith’s cock was right there, before him, tempting him.
He is not gay. He is not gay!

Ash scrambled to his feet and turned once more for the door. This time he was stopped when Keith reached out and grabbed his hand. The lightning that shimmered through Ash’s body then sent shame after it. He bowed his head but no matter how loudly his head told him to yank his hand away, Ash’s heart and penis just wouldn’t let him. Biting on his lower lips, he fought to steady his breathing—but to his horror, his chest heaved harder, faster and more painful.
“Keith, please. Let me go.”
“Why? Are you turned on? Is that why?”
“Just let me go—I can’t-- not with you.”

"This story is about two grown ass gay men that each have a little doubt for one reason or another if their relationship will work. The story is conveyed well and kept completely on the adult playing field, I loved it! When these two get going in the bedroom it is passionate and sensual."--TSM
