Sooooo Sick....

So I haven't posted here in a while, and I figured now is a good time as any to actually get some writing done here. I know, I should be on a break but there was no saying that I couldn't blog, right? Anyways, so yesterday I felt my throat bothering me...It got sore in the evening and then by the time night fall came, my skin was burning up and I couldn't stop shivering. So I wrapped my neck in a scarf, guzzled some Benylin and crawled into bed.  Even though my skin was hot, I had a horrible fever, I was cold so I had to force myself to keep the heat on. I turned it down but didn't turn it off.

 curled into a ball, told my guys on FB good night and fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow.  I woke up again at 1AM, took some more meds and went back to sleep. But I kept waking up, tossing and turning and every muscle in my body throbbed.

It's a horrid thing to be sick--and to make it worse! I had to go to work in the morning.  Now am sitting at work, my neck wrapped in a blue scarf, a gree shawl wrapped around my shoulders and wearing a turtle-neck and a sweater. My throat hurt so bad, it took me almost an hour to eat a bagel, and I keep popping halls and halls vitamin C. *sigh*
