REDEMPTION

Hello my lovelies,

Well remember I told you that REDEMPTION had a home? It does. For those of you who haven't seen it yet, REDEMPTION is coming November to Loose ID! Nope I haven't gotten a cover yet but as soon as I do I will pass it on. But even so, I am super, super excited because it took me forever to finally write something long enough to send out to Loose ID. I am so very proud of the finish product but as usual I am NOT looking forward to edits.

*rips hair out* I'd rather catch my pants on fire than edit lol. But it has to be done and I had gotten alot of edits done on REDEMPTION before submitting it anyways.

As well, my short titled "Teacher's Pet" will be coming to the Cheap Trixx line for Red Eclipse Writers. I am excited since it's the first time I actually get to write a fantasy rather than a full out story. It is being edited and I finally got the cover from the guys at Arigato. Isn't it cute? I love that cover.

Anyways, I should go back to packing. Ugh.

New Contracts all around!

Hey all,

Some good news to tell you about. But first, parents please, keep an eye on your little ones at all times. At nights, get out of bed from time to time and check on them - just look into their rooms on them. Yesterday they found the remains of a little girl Tori Stafford an Ontario girl that had gone missing months ago. She was a beautiful child and was loved by everyone in her community. Her family and her did NOT deserve this. So please, I don't care if it's a family friend, pick your children up from school yourselves. Do not let a family friend do it. Do not let some estrange family members do it. I'm not saying that you're not to trust your family but certain people should not be around children - use your instincts and chances are if you feel uncomfortable with your children being around certain people, you're probably right. *Sigh* Sorry for the rant there but seeing children hurt/killed just breaks my heart.

Ok, something good - I know I said I would only be doing one book a year plus an xmas story but things happened and now I have a few! Lol. So Saddle Up N Ride is out and doing very well, thank you muchly for that. So that's the first Remmy D release this year. Now there are two more to tell you about. The Orchid Murders that Iwrote with John Simson has been finished and accepted. The contracts has been signed and it will be coming soon to eXtasy Books. So we are really happy about that. It will probably be a while though since we just signed the contract a couple of weeks ago.

The second one I wanted to tell you about is my novella (my first attempt at writing anything longer than a short story) titled REDEMPTION will be coming soon. I was offered a contract last night. I still have to read the contract but I am certain that things will work out. I will hold off on telling you where until I have had a chance to talk to people, sign contracts etc etc. But I am freaking out here lol.

I know I said I was going to work on the Red Violin and I swear it will be next. But I probably wont finish that one until sometimes around christmas since I start university (my final year! YAY!) in september. My website has been updated with all the latest info and I will continue to update it with new stuff as they come to me.

Finally Finished a Novel!!

Hey Everyone,

Well about last year, I began a novel with another m/m writer. We went in so far then that person just seemed to drift away. With my anger still in tact I became friends with John Simpson and we started talking. I told him what had happened and he took a look at what we had and told me that it had promise. I was shocked. THE John Simpson thought something that I wrote (with someone else) had promise! I am still dumbfounded over that. Anyways, he suggested that if I wanted we could try and write something. I flailed before my computer, squealed then told him yes!

So we began writing - we were only going to try for a novella but what came out with a novel! We would have finished it sooner but I had a death in the family and had to go away for a while and some other stuff but it's finished now. "The Orchid Murder" is complete and going through the final stages of edits to be submitted to our publisher! Here's the blurb:

So that's what we have gotten out. Its a lovely story that I enjoyed writing with John very much. He made writing with someone else easy and fun to do. I actually wanted to write with him.

Anyways Saddle Up N Ride has been getting some great reviews. The one downside was that people keep telling me that it was too short. Sorry about that but I was going through some stuff and short stuff was all I could manage and besides, I write underneath another name so two names to juggle. Anways, I am off to write The Red Violin next. It was supposed to be the one coming next before but had to put it off to write The Orchid Murders.
