Redemption is a story about second chances at love and life. The townspeople's cynical feelings toward Keegan MacLamore had little to do with his actual misconduct in the beginning. The negativity was destined to haunt him and destroy his young life. I felt sorry for Keegan at that moment. No matter what he did, he was labeled a troublemaker. Jaxon didn’t have a real family to rely on for guidance. It was hard to dislike him when you saw his dedication to Keegan and his desire to make amends. This story reminded me of what I sometimes dislike about small towns. There’s nothing like being the delegated whipping boy. The stress and unfairness of the situation can be enough to make anyone become a rebel.

The setting for this story isolates the characters, allowing readers an opportunity to focus on their attraction and budding relationship. Redemption moves at a moderate pace, and includes some scenes between Keegan and Jaxon that are anything but slow and relaxed. The characters grabbed my attention and I could see their internal battles being warred. Redemption is my first opportunity to read a book written by Remmy Duchene and I’m looking forward to reading more of his tales in the near future.

So last night (Well so it was this morning...REAL early) I was on facebook--giving it one final check before I went to bed and one of my friends over there told me she was going to pick REDEMPTION up on friday. I blinked at the screen and promptly told her that REDEMPTION hadn't been released yet and I didn't think it would be out by Friday. I had been sick all day you see, and didn't check anything all day. So I hopped over to Loose ID and guess what?

I am also working on a joint venture with my childhood friend Lee Owens. He is a great writer but wanted to be a writing partner with me. So, I never turn down a co-author venture! Revamping, writing and stuff

So lately, I've been feeling a little out of it. I just haven't been feeling like writing anymore and it is a sad day when I sit before my computer and just want to toss it out the window. Most of you know me and you know that I've been in a horrible mood lately and while I can't tell you why, I have this to say. Cage Fighter's Salvation is back in my editing pile. I am going through it with a fine, tooth comb, digging out spelling errors, grammatical errors etc but no I am NOT taking out the sweetness, jokes etc. I am adding stuff to make it concise, and sound. It's going to take me a little while to have that out to publishing houses but as soon as that happens I'll post that here. Redemption will be coming to Loose Id at some point. Not sure yet though. The release date has been changed and as soon as I know it, so will you.

With that said, I am revamping everything. The looks of my website, blog etc will probably change but nothing too drastic. My website will remain where it is right now and so will my blog. If you check my site under WIP you will notice two new titles. I am currently in the process of finishing Private Dancer. It should be finished in the next couple of weeks. It is a short, not IR, and I am not sure if I'll self publish it like Keep It In The Closet or shop it around. Once it's complete and I go through it for edits, flow etc we shall see.

Also you'll see a blurb for a title tentatively titled, Fire Apocalypse. It will be my first attempt at paranormal stuff. I didn't want to use a vampire or a werewolf or a fallen angel because let's face it--all those have been done. I went the way of the Elements. It will be Interracial-don't think I want to do another none interracial again lol.

Let's see, what else? Thanks for sticking with me through this time of change. I am throwing ideas around seeing which one stick. Thanks to those of you on facebook who have been so wonderful in sending me PMs seeing if I was alright and for writing on my wall checking up on me. I'm fine now, and I am hoping to have great titles for you for 2010.

REDEMPTION has a face!!

So yesterday, Loose Id made my day! Was having a crappy day and for those of you who know me personally know it was a CRAPPY day. But then I was getting ready to bury my head into some studying when I decided to check my email and guess what? The very SEXY, very HOT, cover for REDEMPTION was in my maibox!! You would not believe how absolutely happy I was! I was flailing and showing it off in yahoo messenger to all my friends but couldn't load it until this morning because my computer was doing something funky.

I am sure you are all aware of Loose Id and their cover department, all I did was give them my idea and look at the amazing face my novella has? No one was more shocked. They have outdone themselves on it. I am so happy I bet you can see that I am absolutely gushing! *flails* But yes, I am very happy with it. It has my sexy Keegan, my bootilicious Carson, rope...on the rope is important *giggles* So yes, I am in class right now and should probably be paying attention lol.

Me on Falcon? *gasp* and other stuggage...

So it's a lazy sunday and after getting a whole weeks worth of school work done yesterday I decided to dig through google for myself (I find theives that way). And I crashed into a result that said "Falcon Studio" No one was more shocked than me that they would even mention me much less but anyways I clicked on it. To my wonderful shock, they were blogging about my short story "Keep It In The Closet" and my mention of their Erik Rhodes. Now Erik is a hottie even I cannot deny how beautiful this man is. So you can find their blog right here but do not click on it if you are at work or anywhere in public. So I was flailing even though they said my grammer sucks which isn't news to me. I can never seem to get my Grammer right which is why I am hella grateful to sexing to some of my editors because they ROCK! They are my favorite kinda mind readers!

Anyways, I will be blogging at Sweet Flag *points to right side of my blog* on October 5, 2009. Not sure what I will be blogging about yet - Probably porn stars as Pop Icons - lol who knows? We'll see what I can come up with. Also I shall be guest blogging at Marc Nobb's Blog - on September 29, 2009 and I will be guest blogging at the Romance and Erotica blog Tour Blog. So technically I am all over the place in these next few months. So if you could come out and chill with me fo ra bit that would be wonderful.

"Redemption" is now in edits over at Loose Id and I am so excited. I should get a cover any day now and boy am I excited it! Can't wait to see what they did to my vision. I am finish writing on "Cage Fighter's Salvation" it is longer than I thought it would be. I am editing it now but I am still not happy with the ending but will keep editing and see what happens. Anyways I am gonna go back and perhaps take a nap. It's a lazy Sunday...and OMG! The radio is playing "Super Freak!"

REDEMPTION

Hello my lovelies,

Well remember I told you that REDEMPTION had a home? It does. For those of you who haven't seen it yet, REDEMPTION is coming November to Loose ID! Nope I haven't gotten a cover yet but as soon as I do I will pass it on. But even so, I am super, super excited because it took me forever to finally write something long enough to send out to Loose ID. I am so very proud of the finish product but as usual I am NOT looking forward to edits.

*rips hair out* I'd rather catch my pants on fire than edit lol. But it has to be done and I had gotten alot of edits done on REDEMPTION before submitting it anyways.

As well, my short titled "Teacher's Pet" will be coming to the Cheap Trixx line for Red Eclipse Writers. I am excited since it's the first time I actually get to write a fantasy rather than a full out story. It is being edited and I finally got the cover from the guys at Arigato. Isn't it cute? I love that cover.

Anyways, I should go back to packing. Ugh.

New Contracts all around!

Hey all,

Some good news to tell you about. But first, parents please, keep an eye on your little ones at all times. At nights, get out of bed from time to time and check on them - just look into their rooms on them. Yesterday they found the remains of a little girl Tori Stafford an Ontario girl that had gone missing months ago. She was a beautiful child and was loved by everyone in her community. Her family and her did NOT deserve this. So please, I don't care if it's a family friend, pick your children up from school yourselves. Do not let a family friend do it. Do not let some estrange family members do it. I'm not saying that you're not to trust your family but certain people should not be around children - use your instincts and chances are if you feel uncomfortable with your children being around certain people, you're probably right. *Sigh* Sorry for the rant there but seeing children hurt/killed just breaks my heart.

Ok, something good - I know I said I would only be doing one book a year plus an xmas story but things happened and now I have a few! Lol. So Saddle Up N Ride is out and doing very well, thank you muchly for that. So that's the first Remmy D release this year. Now there are two more to tell you about. The Orchid Murders that Iwrote with John Simson has been finished and accepted. The contracts has been signed and it will be coming soon to eXtasy Books. So we are really happy about that. It will probably be a while though since we just signed the contract a couple of weeks ago.

The second one I wanted to tell you about is my novella (my first attempt at writing anything longer than a short story) titled REDEMPTION will be coming soon. I was offered a contract last night. I still have to read the contract but I am certain that things will work out. I will hold off on telling you where until I have had a chance to talk to people, sign contracts etc etc. But I am freaking out here lol.

I know I said I was going to work on the Red Violin and I swear it will be next. But I probably wont finish that one until sometimes around christmas since I start university (my final year! YAY!) in september. My website has been updated with all the latest info and I will continue to update it with new stuff as they come to me.
